Zinziswa Soga (Writer, Executive Producer, CEO)

Zinziswa Soga is a young, self-made filmmaker with excellent writing, producing and communication skills. She’s a media and communication specialist, strategist, social entrepreneur and humanitarian; born in Mdantsane East London in the Eastern Cape now based in Cape Town.
She enjoys the corporate affairs fast-paced and highly pressurized work as it unlocks her passion, drive, willingness to roll her sleeves, curiosity and always testing that what she does is aligned to the organization’s strategic goals. She has theoretical knowledge but experience on the sector is what has catapulted her to level she is now.

She has vast experience on managing and overseeing corporate marketing, corporate communication, corporate social investment and corporate events. Managing these disciplines has placed various corporate agency brand through strategic sponsorship and advertising opportunities, targeted socio-economic development programme, strategic corporate communication messaging to all stakeholders, and relationship-building efforts via events. Her skills and expertise are more evident as she wrote and produced her 1st independent, privately commissioned film (Good Parable) which is currently streaming on Showmax. Her strength is multi-tasking and executing multiple projects with good anticipated outcomes.

Zinziswa is a descendant of Soga, son of Jwarha, son of Xhosa King Nkosiyamntu; a born leader and true definition of a rock “Imbokodo”, goal and success orientated. She’s a bright intellect, vibrant and optimistic. Her passion for writing African stories comes from her family background as her forefather Tiyo Soga who is considered by many to be the first major modern African intellectual. He had exceptional contribution to South African literature and the struggle for social change. She is passionate about arts and cultural projects; socio-economic projects, helping less privileged to access good education and economic resources that will help them unlock their potential and break the cycle of poverty to boast local economic growth. Above all, she enjoys serving her country more especially people from rural and less privileged communities.

Nobert Kelvin (Head of Technical, Film Director, Lead Colorist)

Nobert Kelvin is a South Africa-based film director, producer, and post-production supervisor known for his visually compelling storytelling and commitment to authentic African narratives. Since entering the film industry in 2016 as a cinematographer, he has evolved into a dynamic creative force, expanding into directing and producing in 2019.

He is the in-house creative director at Nobert Kelvin Film, a production company dedicated to crafting diverse African stories through films, documentaries, commercials, and branded content. His work bridges the gap between powerful visual aesthetics and emotionally resonant storytelling.
Kelvin gained recognition for his short drama film Good Parable (2020), which he co-produced and directed during the COVID-19 lockdown. The film was distributed on DSTV Showmax and received acclaim for its depth and cinematic quality. His earlier work includes Muddule (2019), a silent short film that marked his directorial debut. He has also collaborated on notable feature films such as SA Girl Movie and Trafficked Africa Movie.

With a multidisciplinary approach that spans concept development, directing, and post-production, Nobert excels at leading projects from ideation to final cut. Whether working on commercials, music videos, feature films, or cross-platform campaigns, his work is anchored in a deep understanding of mood, movement, and meaning. Driven by the power of storytelling and a passion for pushing creative boundaries, Nobert Kelvin continues to shape Africa’s cinematic landscape, one powerful story at a time.
